Most LED’s maintain 80% of initial brightness at 30,000 hours, and 70% around 50,000 hours. This is accurate for Minleon LED’s. But just as important is the temperature the RGB-LED’s are running at. Higher temperatures will reduce the output faster. Minleon controls the power to our RGB-LED’s in software which limits the maximum temperature, thus extending the lifetime. This is one of our competitive advantages. Most likely something else will fail long before the LED’s are a problem. This is why Minleon, over the years, has bulked up its wiring, improved the water-tightness of its base & switched to Twist-&-Lock connectors for all strings & connectors in the RGB+Plus Line. Running hours for a typical application: 50,000 hours = 2083 days or 8 years of 24-hour run-time at full brightness. If used only 12 hours a day with typical effects they will last 3-6 times longer, or 24-48 years.

Gen3 RGB/RGBW WiFi Effects Controller
Control color & animations of various RGB+light strings and fixtures via a dedicated access point, or connect WEC+3 to a larger more robust network. Schedule daily, weekly or hourly scenes with various color pallets on holidays and special occasions throughout the year. Schedule a warm white on all other days. Perfect for residential, or small-to-medium sized commercial installations.
This control box can control up to 1024 pebble or pearl lights with power injections over 200 lights. The control box consists of a power supply, the controller, and any adapter cables needed to make this a plug and play system.
The control box has been custom assembled, firmware updated to the latest version, and tested prior to shipping. There are two cords coming out of the bottom of the box. One cord plugs into a 110 AC standard household outlet. The other cord is a 4 pin connection which connects to your lights, or a spacer cable going to the lights.
